Research:

The subject of my research is chronic wasting disease (CWD), a transmissible spongiform encephalopathy, or prion disease, that infects deer, elk, and moose.  Primarily my work concerns the molecular biology, transmission, pathogenesis, neuropathology and molecular genetics of chronic wasting disease.
