Neuroscience Seminar
The Neuroscience Seminar has been ongoing for more than 25 years. All neuroscience students are required to participate in the seminar each semester. Neuroscience faculty also participate in the seminar and the topic each semester.
Neuroscience Retreat
One or two prominent neuroscientists are invited as distinguished lecturers at the yearly retreat. In addition, a neuroscience faculty member from campus is invited to present a seminar during this event. The retreat is in an informal setting with ample opportunity for students, faculty, and visiting scientists to socialize and discuss research interests. Also, time is allotted to review poster presentations and the retreat ends with a reception and dinner.
Physiology and Neuroscience Club
Neuroscience and Physiology graduate students run this biweekly seminar series. The club hosts invited speakers throughout the year. It also serves as the forum for students to present their master's and doctoral thesis research.
