Martha Wyrsch is president and CEO of Spectra Energy Transmission. Wrysch joined Duke Energy in September 1999 as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary for Duke Energy Field Services. Wyrsch now leads Spectra Energy's (formerly Duke Energy Gas Transmission) natural gas transmission, storage, and distribution business, as well as its gathering and processing and liquids businesses in western Canada. She previously served as vice president, general counsel, and secretary of KN Energy Inc. (now known as Kinder Morgan Inc.).

Wyrsch serves on the boards of directors of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast. She is also a member of the George Washington University Law School Board of Advisors and serves on the board of directors of the Ruckelshaus Institute and Haub School for Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming.

After working for Wyoming Sen. Alan K. Simpson's office for three years, Wyrsch earned her law degree from George Washington University in 1986. She has also completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program (2002).
