After graduating from UW with his bachelor's in pharmacy in 1978, Kevin Tripp took a job with Osco Drug, spending nine years with the company in Casper and Cheyenne, Wyoming. He became executive vice president and general manager of the American Stores drug store division when it merged with Albertson's in 1999.

He is now executive vice president and president of Retail Midwest for SUPERVALU, which acquired Albertson's in 2006. There he oversees the retail operations of Cub Foods, Hornbacher's, Jewel-Osco, and Shop 'n Save, as well as companywide SUPERVALU pharmacy operations.

Tripp completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
