Duke Energy Gas Transmission Company President and CEO to Speak Oct. 5 |

Sept. 29, 2006 -- Laramie native and University of Wyoming alumna, Martha Wyrsch, president and CEO of Duke Energy Gas Transmission Company, will speak Thursday, Oct. 5, at 4:15 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Business Reading Room.
A speaker for the College of Business executive-in-residence series, she will discuss "Energy: The New Era."
Wrysch joined Duke Energy in September 1999 as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Duke Energy Field Services before being named president and CEO. She previously served as vice president, general counsel and secretary of KN Energy, Inc. (now known as Kinder Morgan, Inc.).
She received a law degree from George Washington University, completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and earned a B.A. degree in literature from UW. She is a member of the George Washington University Law School board of advisers and the board of directors for the Ruckelshaus Institute and Haub School for Environment and Natural Resources at UW. The Haub School co-sponsors the talk.
