Cheney visited UW last Friday to participate in the kick off celebration of UW’s first major fund-raising campaign in more than a decade and the largest fund-raising campaign ever conducted in the state of Wyoming.

Cheney held a public discussion with former Wyoming U.S. Sen. Alan K. Simpson, who is chairman of the campaign. Simpson and UW President Philip L. Dubois announced the $125 million fund-raising campaign at a news conference and later during the discussion at the Arena Auditorium.
