* Accreditation for Fall 2012 DNP Program:
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has been notified that the school will be admitting students to the DNP program in fall 2012. The school anticipates hosting a CCNE on-site evaluation for initial accreditation of the DNP program in 2014. CCNE requires
that students be enrolled for one year before an accreditation visit can be
scheduled. The school fully expects the DNP program to be accredited by the time the first DNP students graduate.
National accreditation of the school's nursing
programs is very important. The school is proud that the BSN and MS programs have
been nationally accredited by CCNE through 2020, and looks forward to having the DNP program nationally accredited as well.
For more information about
CCNE, please visit the CCNE website at http://www.aacn.nche.edu/ccne-accreditation.
