Thomas Lab Team Member

Thomas Lab Team Member Taylor Chaulk-Pikula

Major: Kinesiology & Health Promotion, BS: BSN, BRAND Track

Grad Date: August 2018

Why I joined the Research Team:

I joined the research team because I was interested in the research related to Type 2 diabetes and the unique projects the team was working on. I also liked that the group of students on the team came from different areas of study, which offered different perspectives and ideas related to the projects. Having the opportunity to be a part of the research team afforded me many opportunities to help with writing manuscripts, attending and presenting at conferences, and getting the chance to work with other students from different backgrounds. These experiences improved me not only as a student, but also as a professional in the field.

Future Goals:

My future goals are to get experience as an RN and then become an advanced practice nurse.

How my work with the team is related/helpful:

Having the opportunity to be a part of the research team afforded me many opportunities to help with writing manuscripts, attending and presenting at conferences, and getting the chance to work with other students from different backgrounds. These experiences improved me not only as a student, but also as a professional in the field.
