Proctor: "Woman of Influence in Health Care"

UW Nursing faculty Jill Proctor named Woman of Influence

J'Laine "Jill" Proctor, FNP, PMHNP, DNP, received the "Woman of Influence in Health Care" award at the Wyoming Business Report's award ceremony at the Gateway Center in Laramie on August 11, 2016.

The Wyoming Business Report's (WBR) web site notes the following about Proctor:

"A mental health professional, Proctor holds a doctorate degree in nursing and works at Pathways in Laramie. She is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wyoming’s Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing and volunteers at the Downtown Clinic, which serves uninsured individuals in Laramie."

Proctor is a UW Nursing faculty member, teaching in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner option of the school's Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.

The School of Nursing recently recognized Proctor with the "Communication of Wisdom Award" based on her interactions with students and colleagues.
