"Leadership is a critical skill to have in order to be successful in the nursing profession, and so I thought that Aspire would be a wonderful opportunity for me to strengthen that skill. Aspire will also give me the opportunity to connect with nursing students in different years of the program, as well as get to build a personal connection with professors and potential employers. I am very excited to be involved in this program and develop skills that will benefit my future pursuits as a nurse!" [Click on Clinkenbeard's name above for more.]
"Having grown up in 4-H and various community organizations, a leadership program for nursing students was very attractive to me. I wanted to be part of something that could help me improve my leadership skills for my future. Aspire was the prestigious opportunity that would allow me to do just that!" "I was a little shy about joining activities my first semester of college, and began looking for different places where I could apply myself outside of academics. I wanted to become more involved on campus - especially in leadership - and came across the Aspire Program; I knew I had to apply. I saw this program as being a place where I could grow and develop my leadership as well as my character." [Click on Pantoya's name above for more.]
"After hearing about the Aspire program, I knew I wanted to get involved. I was very active in sports and clubs throughout high school and served in leadership positions there. I knew Aspire would be a great way to further develop my leadership skills. I loved the idea of getting connected with other nursing students and professors who all shared a common passion for nursing and leadership." [Click on Stanton's name above for more.]
