Advising Process
Upon admission to the DNP program, students are assigned a nursing faculty member as their primary adviser. Questions can be directed to the Graduate Program Nursing Office at 307-766-6565 or gradnurse@uwyo.edu.
Degree Checks
Students in the School of Nursing utilize Degree Works (an online degree evaluation) in lieu of the Program of Study Form. Students access Degree Works through WyoWeb.
Degree Works is a degree/certificate progress report/advising support system that matches students' completed and current course work with their degree/certificate requirements to determine progress toward earning their degree/certificate.
Graduate Nursing Program staff will monitor Degree Works progression and request needed exceptions (e.g. pointing of transfer courses) based on students' programs.
