These additional reviews will take into consideration if meeting criteria specified above, as well as space availability for the program. Please note that some admission decisions may not occur until after May 1 following the deadline for UW Enrollment Confirmation.

Means of Notification

All application and admission notifications by the School of Nursing are through email as well as hardcopy mailings. Some notifications have response deadlines.

  • Applicants should monitor both UW email (activated following payment of the UW Enrollment Confirmation Fee) and non-UW email (provided on UW application) for notifications from the School of Nursing.

  • For non-UW email sources, we recommend not using your high school email, but rather a different provider. We have found that some contacts are blocked and not going through to the student.

  • These notifications may pertain to admission status and/or program expectations associated with freshman admission to the nursing major.
