Master of Science (Nurse Educator) Program - MS

online master of science program for:
- the registered nurse with a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)

- or the registered nurse with a non-nursing baccalaureate degree

Program Overview

The University of Wyoming offers an online master of science program for nurses who wish to become nurse educators. This 36-hour online program requires one visit to campus for an initial fall orientation. This program is available for the registered nurse with a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) or the registered nurse with a non-nursing baccalaureate degree (who would need to successfully complete two bridge courses prior to admission to the program). Newly admitted students are required to come to campus for New Graduate Student Orientation at the beginning of their first fall semester.

Important Note

The GRE is no longer required for admission to the MS Nurse Educator Program.

Out-of-State Applicants

The implementation of the Higher Education Act – State Authorization has affected the admission of out-of-state students in the Nurse Educator (MS) Program. The School of Nursing is no longer admitting students from the following states: Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Minnesota.
