2016 Multicultural Affairs Summer Scholarship
URDM Graduate Assistantships provide support for under-represented domestic minority and women applicants in traditionally under-represented disciplines. URDM supports American-born or naturalized citizens of African-American, Hispanic/Latino, American-Indian/Alaskan native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Asian-American applicants on a competitive basis. Applicants should contact their department of interest directly to visit with potential faculty mentors and programs available. Mention the 'URDM GA'.
To provide financial support to a student or student(s) with a declared major or minor in African American Studies.
Each year several successful American Indian student applicants receive scholarships based on their academic achievement and record of service. To apply to be considered please visit https://uwyo.academicworks.com/ to complete the American Indian Studies General Application.
Transfer Student Scholarship: This award goes out to a Latina/o, Hispanic, Mexican-American, and/or Chicana/o Transfer Student from any Wyoming or Out of State Community Colleges.
D.A.C.A: This award goes out to a Latina/o, Hispanic, Mexican-American, and/or Chicana/o registered Minor with a D.A.C.A. student status.
Freshman Scholarship: This award goes out to a Latina/o, Hispanic, Mexican-American, and/or Chicana/o in-coming UW Freshman Student or with a designated Freshman status
Latina/o Minor: This award goes out to a Latina/o, Hispanic, Mexican-American, and/or Chicana/o UW student with UW Latina/o Studies Minor.
Funding is for eight consecutive semesters, ($6,000 total over four years) provided the recipient maintains a 2.0 cumulative grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester.

Joan P. Capps Scholarship: For minority women studying in the Math or Sciences fields, demonstrating financial need.
John and Sally Steadman Endowment: The net income only shall be used for the College of Engineering at the University of Wyoming to (a) support faculty professional development to assist the College in providing the engineering education needed for graduates to be competitive in the engineering marketplace and (b) provide undergraduate scholarships for students in the College from underrepresented segments of the student population, i.e., women and ethnic minority students.
Union Pacific Geology Scholarship: Applicants must be outstanding minority students in Geology or outstanding female students in Geology. Two scholarships will be awarded; one each to a minority student and a female student.
