Outreach Credit Programs
Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership
The faculty of the Educational Leadership programs envision a program of doctoral studies that is aligned with the our vision and beliefs. This program is designed to prepare the graduate for service as an educational leader and for continued growth and learning beyond the completion of the degree requirements. The course content, learning activities, and authentic assessments of the program assure more than just the acquisition of the knowledge and skills needed by an educational leader.
The program consists of 50 credit hours of coursework, ending with a comprehensive exam. The comprehensive exam are the culminating activity for the degree to demonstrate your preparation to assume district-level leadership positions. The purpose of the exam is to demonstrate master of ELCC standards as they relate to situations typically found in district-level leadership.
Students who are interested in a Wyoming School Superintendent's Endorsement can apply to the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board after successfully completing the educational leadership core courses and the internship (total of 26 credit hours). Those students are also eligible for a UW Certificate.
