Many UW service departments provide a variety of resources to students who reside outside of Laramie, WY. See below the list of available resources designed to help you succeed in your UW distance education. All are covered by UW student fees and come at no additional cost to you!
Advising for undeclared students, and career planning for all students
These centers are located throughout Wyoming and provide services such as financial planning, economic literacy, advising on financial aid options, and assistance with the application process.
Students submit questions, chat live, and upload writing submissions to online tutors.

For distance and Casper students, counseling is provided via distance means for a variety of needs like stress, relationship issues, time management, work/life balance, and test anxiety.
Individualized student course accomodations, technical assistance, consultation, and resource information
Request books and other media to be mailed directly to you free of charge.
Veterans, active-military, and dependent students will be connected to resources within their own regions that provide legal, medical, employment assistance, and more!
Students email a request to a writing consultant to review their attached writing submission.
