Quick Start Program

Are you currently working toward your Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Wyoming? Are you interested in pursuing a Master's of Science (M.S.) degree as well and have a GPA above a 3.25? If so, the Quick Start Program may be the right solution for you.

This program allows an accelerated path towards completion of an M.S. degree with several benefits for being a current student, including a waiver of the application fee, waiver of the GRE exam, and for our international students, a waiver of additional English proficiency testing.

To apply for the Quick Start Program, you must complete the online graduate application and upload the required materials and reference contacts. Just follow the online instructions until your application is complete. Apply here.

Because you will be taking graduate-level courses as an undergraduate student, you must also reserve that course work for graduate credit. You will need to complete a Request to Reserve Course Work for Graduate Credit and submit it to Michele Foist in EN 4015 or via email with electronic signatures.
