SML Molecular Energy Program


Mission: To develop molecular models of thermodynamic and transport properties of fossil energy and macromolecular fluids and solids; such as oil & gas fluids, interfaces, aqueous electrolytes, ionic liquids, hydrates, nonthermal plasma, and bio-derived & bio-applicable materials.
Projects: Pressure, Volume, Temperature; Enhanced Oil Recovery, Minimum Miscibility Pressure electrolytes, supercritical fluids, ionic liquids, hydrates, nonthermal plasma, block copolymers, interfacial phenomena
