The application period for fall 2013 is closed. Please check back later for information about the fall 2014 filing period.
Do you require the PCAT? - Top
Yes. All scores must be sent to PharmCAS using the PharmCAS-code 104.
Do you accept the January PCAT? - Top
Yes we do accept the January PCAT.
How do you get my PCAT scores? - Top
We only accept PCAT scores submitted through PharmCAS using PharmCAS code 104.
What is your minimum GPA in order to apply? - Top
A student must have 2.8 cumulative GPA in order to apply to the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy, however in order to be a competitive applicant your GPA should be closer to 3.5.
I didn't submit my PCAT scores to PharmCAS when I tested. What do I do? - Top
Contact Pearson and have them send your scores to PharmCAS, there will probably be an additional fee.
Do you require letters of recommendation? If so how many? - Top
Yes. We require two (2) letters of recommendation.
May I submit more than 2 letters? - Top
Yes you may submit up to four.
Who can my letters be from? - Top
Professors, employers or a Health Care Professional who can demonstrate knowledge of your academics and work ethic.
Do you have a supplemental application? - Top
No. We only require the PharmCAS application at this point.
My school does not offer the US and Wyoming Government class. What should I do? - Top
You will take this class at UW; our only prerequisites are the science and math.
How competitive is your program? - Top
Our application ratio is 7 to 1, for every seat we have we have approximately 7 students competing for it.

c. General Chemistry I & II with labs

Can I get a transcript review? - Top
The School of Pharmacy charges $40 for a transcript review. Please send a copy of your transcript, a check for $40.00 and a self-addressed envelope to:

How do I apply to the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy? - Top
The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy only accepts applications through the centralized application service, the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS).
Our application process for Fall 2013 opens June 1, 2012. The application period is closed.
It is the student's responsibility to check up on their application with PharmCAS and make sure it's sent to the University of Wyoming in a timely manner along with all materials including PCAT scores and updates on transcripts.
We require the Pharmacy College Admission Test or PCAT. It is the student's responsibility to check on their PCAT scores and make sure that PharmCAS receives them in a timely manner.
The student is required to obtain 2 letters of recommendation that come from a professor, employer, or a health care professional; we do not accept letters from family, friends or clergy.
All application material should be sent to PharmCAS, any material sent directly to the University of Wyoming, unless directly requested, will be disposed of.
We do not require a supplemental application. Students should note that all admissions correspondence including acceptance and denial letters will be through email.
