Linda Martin Presents at International Meetings in Portugal
Linda Gore Martin, associate professor of social and administrative pharmacy, recently spent two weeks in Lisbon, Portugal, interacting with her international colleagues. She conducted a workshop at the 16th International Social Pharmacy Workshop and then gave a podium presentation at the World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 70th International Congress of FIP. Ardis Meier Named 2010 Outstanding Alumna
Colonel (Ret.) Ardis J. Meier (B.S.P. '77) of Lusk, Wyo., is the 2010 UW School of Pharmacy Outstanding Alumna. During her military career, she received numerous meritorious service awards and commendations and rose to the position of the chief pharmacy consultant to the USAF Surgeon General. Col. Meier retired in 2004 following 26 years of service. More >
