UW School of Pharmacy Welcomes New Faculty
The University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy welcomed two new faculty at the beginning of the fall 2013 semester.
Guanglong He, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry
Guanglong He, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry with the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. He received a Ph.D. from the Institute of Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China. In 2002, He completed postdoctoral fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He was previously an associate professor with the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. The research theme in He's lab includes two major areas: cardiovascular injury and biomedical imaging.
Reshmi Singh, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Social and Administrative Pharmacy
Reshmi Singh, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Ph.D. in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, Singh taught for three years at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been published and cited in peer-reviewed, internationally-recognized professional journals and invited to present her research at national and international conferences. In addition, she has reviewed and written book chapters and several publications in her field of research.
