Sreejayan Nair Promoted to Professor

School of Pharmacy faculty member Sreejayan Nair, Ph.D. promoted to professor by the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees May 2014.May 12, 2014 — University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy faculty member Sreejayan Nair, Ph.D., director of the UW Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. Program and director of the Center for Cardiovascular Research and Alternative Medicine, was promoted to professor by the UW Board of Trustees in May.

Nair joined the School of Pharmacy in 2002 as an assistant professor of pharmacology and was promoted to associate professor in 2008. Prior to coming to UW, Nair was a post-doctoral fellow with the Department of Physiology at the University of Tennessee. Previously, he was a research fellow with the Department of Medicine II at Ludwig-Maximillians University in Munich, Germany. Nair’s research is in the areas of Type-2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. (view Dr. Nair’s faculty profile)
