Natural Resource Ethics

We will explore how the major ethical theories apply to the use, preservation, conservation, and restoration of natural resources such as energy, water, food, soil, timber, and species.  In addition, we will consider how the principles of distributive justice pertain to the allocation of resources among contemporary people and societies, as well as between current and future people.
