Islam is painted by some as empowering women, by others as severely misogynistic. Learn what the classical sources actually say, and what roles women have played in traditional Muslim societies. Course may cover such issues as Qur'an and Sharia, marriage and divorce, prayer and pilgrimage, gender and LGBTQ+, progressive Muslims and much more.
