Mike Pierce
Professor Pierce received his Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii in 1988 and did postdoctoral work at Kitt Peak National Observatory and the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. He came to UW in 2001 after being on the faculty at Indiana University. Professor Pierce studies galaxies, cosmology, and works on astronomical instrumentation.
