All schools have specific admission requirements and minimum grades and scores. Keep in mind that no on ever gets admitted by doing the minimum. Expectations are much higher and competitive admissions assure that only students who focus on expectations are admitted.

The University of Wyoming offers a variety of academic support services.  For advice on developing your academic skills, tutoring information and more please see the UW Better Grades site.

Entry into most professional health schools requires students to perform well on Standardized Admission Tests.  If you struggle with standardized tests you will want to develop the skills necessary to succeed over the course of your undergraduate degree.

  • OAT (Optometry Admission Test)
  • DAT (Dental Admission Test)
  • MCAT (Medical College Admission Test -- also required by most podiatry schools)
  • GRE  (Graduate Record Exam -- required by many PT, OT and PA programs.  Also required by most graduate schools).
