Please contact the carrier or carriers directly to get moving estimates.  Carrier location does not necessarily determine the geographic area within which they provide services.  Many of the carriers move household items across the nation.

The following information applies to all employees taking advantage of this moving service.

• The University will not be responsible for the coordination of any type of move. 
• The University is not responsible for any damage to goods moved.  Any damage is controlled by the contract between the employee and the carrier.
• Employees taking advantage of this service are responsible for all charges associated with the move.  Under no circumstances shall the University be billed directly for the move.
•  Be sure to talk to your department concerning any monetary reimbursements that you may be entitled prior to making arrangements for your move.
• Newly hired individuals, not yet employees of the University, should obtain a letter from their new employer indicating that they have been hired.

The following information is only for university employees needing the assistance of a moving company for personal goods.  Departments needing moving services need to contact Physical Plant to coordinate this.
