David Brooks - 1984

David Brooks is Chief Operating Officer at Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group - China. After his graduation from UW in 1984, Brooks left for Asia, an area of the world where he had also spent much of his childhood. The son of a U.S. Foreign Service officer, Brooks grew up in Nepal and China, and was fluent in Mandarin Chinese by the time he was 14.

In 1988, Brooks was hired by Coca-Cola. He was Coca-Cola China's project manager for the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 and the Director of the Athens 2004 Olympic torch relay.

Brooks earned his M.B.A. from Solvay Ecole de Commerce (Solvay Business School) at Belgium's University Libre de Bruxelles in 1993.
