Cheryl Holt - 1986

Romance Novelist

After working as a deputy district attorney in a Denver D.A. office for three years, Cheryl Holt decided to try her hand at writing romance novels. She published her first book, The Way of the Heart, in 1999.

Since then, she has published over a dozen more novels. Several of her books have been USA Today best sellers, and she has been the recipient of several awards from Romantic Times Magazine.

In addition to earning a law degree from UW, Holt received bachelor's degrees in music performance, French, and education at South Dakota State University.

She lives in California with her husband and two children.
