The Ed.D. in Educational Administration, Adult and Postsecondary Education, prepares graduates for leadership positions in adult education, postsecondary education, and related fields. This includes working as coordinators, directors, deans, and senior administrators at postsecondary educational institutions (community colleges, universities, etc.).

As such, the University of Wyoming International Students and Scholars staff are unable to issue I-20 or DS-2019 documents for international students enrolling in this program. Either a TOEFL score or an IELTS score is acceptable. We require a minimum score of 80 for the online TOEFL exam, with minimum scores of 20 in each subset, and the score must be at least two years current. For the IELTS exam, we require a minimum overall score of 6.5, with minimum scores of 6 in each subset, and the score must be at least two years current.
This EdD program requires students to successfully complete 77-80 credit hours, depending on admission date. All the classes are delivered either online or through a blended format (online and audio conferencing). Ed.D. students have a residency requirement that consists of two annual meetings (one to two days in length) on the Laramie campus during the spring semesters.
