Travel Funding Opportunities

Prospective students who are applying for a doctoral program are eligible to receive monetary support for visiting UW and faculty in Laramie. Up to $200 is available for out-of-state students and up to $50 is available for in-state students. For current students, multiple funding opportunities are available, including the Department of Professional Studies, the College of Education, and Academic Affairs.

Submission deadlines for department travel funding:

Fall Semester Travel Funding Department Deadline: September 10

Spring Semester Travel Funding Department Deadline: January 20

College of Education GAships and Forms

Funding support in the Department of Professional Studies comes in form of College-level graduate assistantships (GAships) and College-level scholarships.  Students are encouraged to submit GAship applications as soon as possible upon their admittance to increase chances of securing funding support.  Please contact College of Education Office Associate Christina Moore (cmoore15@uwyo.edu or 307-766-3145) with questions regarding funding opportunities.  Please note, only full-time students are eligible for GAships!
