The Online Instruction Certificate program helps students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively develop and teach online courses in a variety of settings. Upon completion, students receive official recognition of their achievement on their University of Wyoming transcripts and an official university graduate certificate. The Online Instruction Certificate Program is designed for those who (a) already have a bachelor's degree, (b) wish to take courses related to the delivery of online instruction, and (c) would like to earn a UW Certificate.
The Graduate Certificate is a post-baccalaureate, credit-bearing certificate program offered by the University of Wyoming via Outreach Credit Programs. Although not a degree program, certificate courses may be used to meet requirements of degrees in instructional technology. With the consent of faculty committees, students who have been formally admitted to the Master of Science in Education with an option in Instructional Technology program may use certification courses to fulfill graduate degree requirements.
Focusing on our mission to develop competent professionals who can select, integrate, design, develop, implement, and evaluate effective instruction in a variety of learning environments and settings, the requirements include four online courses offered through the Outreach Credit Program:
The University of Wyoming was ranked 11th in the nation for best value!
| Resident Tuition | Non-Resident Tuition |
| Outreach Courses Campus Courses | Outreach Courses Campus Courses |
| $210/credit $210/credit | $294/credit $629/credit |
Additional outreach course fees: $20/credit for video or audio classes; $40/credit for online classes.
