Jim KearnsJim is a UW graduate with more than 30 years' experience as a professional print journalist and in commercial radio. Jim writes, edits, and distributes stories to selected print and broadcast media and produces audio for radio stations. He reports on news from the College of Engineering, student organizations, Student Affairs units, and special units such as the Enhanced Oil Recovery and Ruckelshaus Institutes. He has won several awards for radio programming.A graduate of the University of Wyoming, and a dedicated UW employee for 29 years, Jim received the E.G. Meyer Family Outstanding Staff Service Award for 2001 and twice received Mortar Board Tip of the Cap awards for outstanding service to UW students. In 2005, the Small Business Administration named him the Small Business Journalist of the Year for Wyoming.
