The New Face of UW Human Resources

This month’s highlight is from the UW Human Resources department. They came to us in late 2007 wanting to revamp their hiring program and job opportunities here on campus. After much discussion, they decided on a theme of “Work, Play, Learn, Stay.” 

 

The materials the VisComm team created included a brochure for job fairs, a flier highlighting student opportunities, a magnet, and a coaster. The thought process behind the magnet and coaster was people search for jobs online, so provide them with a product that can be placed near the computer and remind people of the job site URL.

HR ordered 5,000 of each, and the results have been amazing.  The positive feedback regarding the design and feel of the products have extended from leadership to potential hires, and HR has seen a dramatic increase in applicants.
