All University of Wyoming students, faculty, staff, and spouses are eligible to compete in intramural activities provided they have access to all facilities and can present a valid UW identification card upon request. Most intramurals are free of charge to all full-time students. University part-time students, faculty, staff, and spouses may also play for free but are responsible for securing access to events in Campus Recreation Facilities. Entry and competition information can be found in the Recreational Sports Office in Half Acre Gym Rm. 100.
Intramural activities consist of team, individual, and dual competitions. Most intramural team sports are divided into three leagues by gender: men’s, women’s, and co-recreational. UW Intramural Sports provides both competitive and recreational levels of participation to encourage individuals of all skill levels to compete. The levels of play vary with each sport. All registration for Intramural Sports takes place through www.imleagues.com This is the ONLY place entries are accepted. Participants may come into the Intramural office for a walk-through. Information on how to create an account and sign up for a team is available here
Free agents are participants who wish to take part in intramural competition but are unable to field a complete team. These competitors may sign up on the free-agent function through www.imleagues.com
