Originally from Manassas, Virginia, Brian came to the University of Wyoming to escape the city life and pursue a bachelor's degree in Anthropology, in addition to his various outdoor pursuits.  Since he first took up rock climbing, it has essentially consumed his life, and he quite naturally fell right into place in the Laramie community. He is now exploring and developing vast amounts of rock that southeastern Wyoming has to offer.  From powerful overhung bouldering to alpine multi-pitch climbing in the Wind River Mountains, Brian does it all, and loves to share the experience with others. When he isn't rock climbing or studying, he enjoys playing and touring with his band, going for long runs, backpacking through beautiful places, and eating.
