Cynthia Dywan grew up in Northwest Indiana and earned an A.A. in Illustration at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, then became a professional bicycle mechanic prior to moving to Laramie eight years ago. After moving to Laramie and working as a bicycle mechanic and ski tech at a local shop, she came to the UW Outdoor Program as our Bicycle Mechanic, Ski Technician, Trip Leader, and Office Assistant while pursuing her degree in Kinesiology. Since earning her B.A. in Kinesiology she has stayed on to be one of the Outdoor Program’s graduate assistants while working on her Master's in Kinesiology. She is currently working in the Motor Learning & Behavior Lab to study the effect of saddle height on cycling performance.
