Students are responsible for being aware of and meeting course prerequisites as listed in the Bulletin. Students not meeting prerequisites may be dropped from those courses.

An asterisk ( * ) following the course reference number (CRN) indicates controlled enrollment. You must contact the appropriate academic department to obtain permission to register for the course and for professor/section choice.

The Chemistry Department checks prerequisites on 1000- and 2000-level courses approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Students without an appropriate prerequisite will be administratively dropped from their chemistry course. After the prerequisite check, 1000- and 2000-level courses will be under controlled enrollment. ALL chemistry prerequisites can be found in the General Bulletin.
