Best Paper Prize was awarded to Jeffrey Wilson for his paper "Politicized Islam in the Iranian Revolution."
Study Abroad Scholarships were awarded to Charlie Krampner, Laurel Ball, Collin Ballard, Jordan Bishop, Zane Romanek, STephen Wadsack, Michelle Ward, Colette Fleurey, Ashley Hagel, Sydney Mann, Landon Shimpa, Clay Shineberg, Kari Fictum and Mary Manker.
Outstanding Graduate Award went to Matthew Woodard who graduated Spring 2013 with a BA in Religious Studies.
Board of Visitors Award went to Robert Perea.
Best Paper Prize was awarded to Ellie Riske for her paper "Chain of Memory: How the Amish have Preserved their History and Traditions Through Rejecting Modernity and Individual Autonomy."
Study Abroad Scholarships were awarded to 1) Mary Manker 2) Rebecca MacConnell 3) Ryan Bell 4) Elizabeth Durkee 5) Molly Thornton 6) Casidy Mittelstadt and 7) Valerie Vasquez for the various locations each will be travelling during Summer 2013.
Outstanding Graduates Award went to Jacob Benson and Michael Fehr. Both are Spring 2013 graduates earning a BA in Religious Studies. This is a faculty nominated award with support from the Anne Slater Student Award gift.
Board of Visitors Award was presented by Dean Oliver Walter of the Arts & Sciences Dean's Office to Michael F. Dunn for the many writings, over several years, in the Branding Iron, where he introduced religious issues to students and scholars in a neutral, scholarly perspective.
Best Paper Prize was awarded to Michael Fehr for his paper "In God We Trust: the Nomos of American Civil Religion."
Study Abroad Scholarships were awarded to 1) Jacob Benson 2) Rhiannon Jakopak and 3) Mary Manker for studies and travels they will be doing during the Summer 2012 session.
Outstanding Graduate Award went to Courtney Callison and Evan Blonigen. Both are Spring 2012 graduates earning a BA in Religious Studies. This is a faculty nominated award with support from the Anne Slater Student Award gift.
Research and Conference Travel Award was presented to Nichollette Jones in support of her Summer 2012 research and travels in India.
Board of Visitors Award was presented by Gracie Lawson-Borders of the Arts & Sciences Dean's Office to Kathryn Bodnar Snyder for her proficient leadership skills in guiding and directing the Religious Studies Club.
Best Paper Prize was awarded to Shannon Hopkins for her paper "The Evangelical perspective."
Study Abroad Scholarships were awarded to 1) Stephanie Cynkar for studies Fall 2011 in Cultural & International Health Care 2) Caitlin Pratt for studies in Israel during the Summer 2011 session.
Outstanding Graduate Award went to Kaitlin Harper-Loendorf, a December 2010 graduate, earning a BA in Religious Studies.
Board of Visitors Award was presented to Audrey Jensen who was instrumental in organizing the Religious Studies Club.
