Dining Plans

For the next four years, you’ll be eating some of the most delicious campus food. How much food? Well, that all depends on how wisely you use your individual dining plan. The dining experience is an important part of campus life. Mealtimes provide opportunities for you to connect with friends, stay healthy, boost your energy, and unwind after a long day.

Each of our Meal Plans offers something different, so no matter who you are or how you eat, you can find a Meal Plan that works best for your schedule and lifestyle. Sometimes you’ll go out to dinner, accidentally sleep through breakfast, settle for a bowl of ramen in your room rather than venturing out into the cold or just find yourself unable to get to the dining center.

CHOOSING A RESIDENTIAL PLAN

All students living in the residence halls must purchase one of the Residential Meal Plans listed below.  Students have the option to select a meal plan as part of their Residence Hall Contract.

In addition, Washakie Dining Center is not just for those who live in the residence halls. Whether you live on or off-campus, Washakie is available for the entire UW Community. Entry can be paid for with cash or credit, however, those who would like to dine at Washakie on a regular basis should consider purchasing a Non-Residential meal plan for the best value.

RESIDENTIAL MEAL PLAN OPTIONS

Weekly Plans provide a number of meals (Unlimited, 15, 12) each week resetting Friday mornings. Additionally, Dining Dollars are included in each meal plan to supplement the meals.

Block Plans differ from weekly meal plans by providing a set number of meals for the entire semester with no weekly restrictions on the number of meals used. Block Plans also offer Dining Dollars to help supplement meals.
