Many people don’t realize that the Washakie Dining Center is also home to our very own Rolling Mill Bakery, the finest bakery in town. Here delectable pastries, breads, and other sweet and savory creations are made fresh daily. Our professional pastry staff create most items from scratch, which they then proudly distribute to our many dining locations.

Rolling Mill Bakery signature desserts, pastries, breads and treats are featured at the Rolling Mill Café, located in the Wyoming Union, and also across campus in the the Book & Bean, Elements, and Ross Hall Dining Room.

Meal plan holders get to sample the Rolling Mill Bakery’s creations on a daily basis, since the bakery provides the Washakie Dining Center’s baked goods, desserts, and breads, among other items. Additionally, some of our Cowboy Care Package options include items made from the Rolling Mill Bakery like our special occasion cakes, birthday treats, and Cowboy Cookie-Grams. Bakery items also often grace University of Wyoming Catering events.

The Rolling Mill Bakery is yet another way in which we, as a department, are able to provide the highest level of customer service and culinary options. Having a bakery on-site enables dining services to quickly respond to requests, assist with making special occasions memorable, while also offering unmatched variety and personalized dining choices.
