Graduate Residence Coordinator (GRC)
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to be a part of an energetic and dynamic Residence Education team! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of residence life and community living, experience in student programming, and the desire to build community through regular interactions with Resident Assistants (RAs) and residents.
The GRC is a 20 hour per week position. GRCs are full time graduate students assisting in the management of a residence hall. GRCs live in the residence halls and aid in the development and supervision of student staff members, provide leadership to hall programming, manage operations of a 24 hour front desk, serve on Departmental committees, and build a dynamic living learning community for residents in the hall.
Terms of Employment
The GRC is a 10 month, live-in position. GRCs must be full-time graduate students enrolled in 9 credit hours. While in the position an overall and cumulative semester Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 is required each semester for graduate students; a 2.0 GPA is required for both law and pharmacy students.
A furnished room within a Residence Hall will be provided. Furnishings include: a queen sized bed, micro-fridge, dresser, desk, and private bathroom. Additionally, an unlimited meal plan, when the Dining Center is in operation, and a parking permit is provided to GRCs.
