The National Residence Hall Honorary is the only international organization that exclusively recognizes leaders in the residence halls; it is also considered the recognition branch of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), Inc. The opportunity to have a chapter is a service of NACURH, Inc. designed to give local, regional and national recognition to students making outstanding contributions to their campus and residence halls. NACURH firmly believes in the value of student involvement in residence hall life through community service, community building, advocacy and educational programming.

Membership is limited to the top 1% of student leaders living in the residence halls.

NRHH exists to.....

• To give recognition to residence hall leaders for a job well done.
• To improve life in the residence hall by developing new leaders, keeping veteran leaders involved, 
and establishing programs to improve campus life.
• To involve residence life in the surrounding local community.
• To provide local, regional, and national recognition through National Membership Pins, National Membership Certificates, “Of the Month” Awards, etc.

You can join if......

1. You have lived in the residence halls for at least one year and currently live in the residence halls
2. You are a full time student and in good standing with the University of Wyoming
3. You have a 2.5 GPA or higher
4. You have demonstrated leadership abilities and service through campus organizations and the residence halls.

Membership drives are held in the fall and spring semesters.

“Of the Months” (OTMs)
An OTM is a recognition essay about a person, group, or program. They are submitted each month and some are selected to move on to the regional and national levels.

OTMs are an awesome way to keep residents and staff motivated and feeling appreciated! A person or program you recognize on campus could be recognized nationally!
