The Residential Network (ResNet) is a service that students can utilize while living in the Residence Halls, in the River Village section of the UW Apartments, the Honors House and some Greek Houses. It is a direct cable connection (also known as an Ethernet connection) to the campus computer network and the Internet. The ResNet Support Center has Residential Computer Consultants (RCC's) available during the regular academic year to assist students living in all of the locations listed above with most computer related problems. The ResNet Support Center, located in Information Technology Center, room 160, is typically open during regular business hours (9am - 5pm). The office is also open during the summer months from 10 to 4 Monday through Friday.  The ResNet office is closed during all University holidays.

 Expectations:

1. Services provided are available only to enrolled students, faculty and staff of UW.
2. In an effort to provide quality service and good hands on experience, we require our clients to take an active role in the repair of their computers or setup of their mobile devices.
3. All clients who reveive assistance at the service Center are required to review, fill out and sign the Service Center Work Form.

4. We encourage our clients to ask questions, and we will make every effort to answer them.
