Shalom! Whether on purpose or by sheer happenstance, welcome to the University of Wyoming Rodeo website.

My name is Lyndi Anderson, favorite child of Kris and Kurt Anderson. I’ve Lived in Laramie the past three Years, but am originally form Billings, Montana, and even more originally from Chadron, Nebraska. A lifetime ago, I attended Billings West High School (Go Bears!). Currently I am a senior at the University, studying Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. The past three years I have competed in goat tying and breakaway roping for the University.

During high school, I was a member of National Honors Society, became semi-fluent in Spanish, qualified to the National High School Rodeo Finals for Montana, and then made the bright decision to attend UW. I chose to come to the University for the low tuition rates for children of Alumni as well as the strong and competitive rodeo team. Through my journey in college, I have made the Dean’s list, raised my GPA 1.7 points, became the lead of the worship team for Cowboy Church in the Central Rocky Mountain region, and adopted seven chickens.

When I’m not practicing at the Hansen Arena or working two jobs, I enjoy playing cards with my roommates, fishing, geocaching, taking naps, and eating snacks. Fortunately for me, Laramie is the perfect place to accomplish my academic and athletic goals. I’ve highly enjoyed my time at the University and would recommend it to anyone seeking higher education. I would like to thank my parents and grandparents for being my greatest support at the end of the day. I am so grateful God has blessed me with the amazing experiences and people I’ve encountered so far.

Go in peace, serve the Lord. Thanks be to God!
