My sophomore year of high school I set the current school record in the Triple Jump and made it to the State track meet. I competed in Science Olympiad my junior year of High School at regionals I won second in the event called Designer Genes (DNA coding) at the State Competition. I was also President of National Honors Society my Senior Year of High School. I received my Associates of Science Degree (NJC), Presidents Honor Roll (3 years), Presidents Scholar Athletes Award, AI Certification, Outstanding Agriculture Student 2017, 2018 8th in the Central Rocky Mountain Region Breakaway Roper, 2018 Colorado State University Breakaway Roping Champion, 2017 CNFR Qualifier in the Breakaway Roping, 2016 Lamar College Breakaway Roping Champion, 2016 University of Wyoming Reserve Champion Barrel Racer and the 2015 Sheridan College Breakaway Roping Champion. I was the 2016 Rookie of the Year in the Kansas Professional Rodeo Association, 2015 NLBRA World Champion Breakaway Roper, 2015 National High School Goat Tying Qualifier and the 2014 NLBRA Reserve World Champion All Around Cowgirl. I wanted a quality education in my field of study along with a strong rodeo program. The campus is so beautiful and has a very welcoming feel. Laramie is a very easy town to rodeo out of because it is centrally located. The people of Laramie are friendly, and I love that the town has a traditional western feel. My Uncle Doug Sederstrom rode bulls for the University of Wyoming (1994-1998). My great grandpa Harold McCoy raised race horses and rope horses. My dad Greg Sederstrom junior and high school rodeoed competing in Tie down roping, team roping, and bull riding. Uncle Doug Sederstrom rode bull for the University of Wyoming.
