People will be arriving to the Wyoming Sensory Biology Symposium in a number of ways. Below are just a few options. If you have any questions or concern, please contact Kara Duggan, SBC coordinator at kduggan1@uwyo.edu.
Google Map Location: Here is the Google maps location, but be aware that cell signal is spotty in the area.
This part of Wyoming can get all types of weather all times of the year, which can disrupt travel. Not only should you prepare for the symposium's weather by packing wet/dry/hot/cold weather clothing, but keep an eye on the weather before you travel. The symposium coordinators will try to send out any weather warnings prior to the symposium.
You can see the current weather in Moran and Yellowstone National Park here.
Jackson Hole has a small airport symposium participants can fly into. You can learn more about the airport at its website: https://www.jacksonholeairport.com/
The symposium coordinators plan to coordinate shuttle service from the airport to the UW-NPS Station on Friday and Sunday. Other ground transportation is available through the airport. If you plan to explore on your own, the symposium coordinators suggest renting a car for yourself. Rental information at the airport is available.
