SRC Pre-approval: Please get pre-approval BEFORE starting any project involving humans, vertebrates, or potentially hazardous materials. 

Minimum Form and Registration Requirements:

• Registration form
• Fee
• Form 1 -completed and dated BEFORE start date
• Form 1A -ACTUAL start date
• Form 1B -Dated BEFORE start date (including the parent signature)
  • IRB must sign Form 1B part 2a for all human, vertebrate, and biological experiments.

• All other forms depend on the subject of the experiment.

Students and Sponsors:

Follow the Rules Wizard. The Rules Wizard asks questions about your proposed research and provides guidance on following the appropriate rules and completing appropriate paperwork. 

The Wyoming State Science Fair's Scientific Review Committee (SRC) is available to answer your questions for next year's projects. After familiarizing yourself with the Rules Wizard, if you still have questions or concerns, email them with "SRC" in the subject line.  Please ask while there is still time to file the correct paperwork with your research plan and/or to adjust your research plan as needed.  So that we can most effectively assist you, please include your grade level and your detailed research plan.
