Connecting Scientists and Schools|Science Posse

The Science Posse's goals were to create scientists who make their research accessible and understandable, to increase teachers' knowledge of current research, and to encourage students to care about and pursue careers in science.

Why is this important?

Passing on the Torch gives three compelling reasons to scientists about the need for them to be actively involved in K-12 science education.
