Background:

My passion for mathematics is due to my high school maths teacher, Mr. Jones. I write “maths” because I attended a boarding school in Sydney, Australia and mathematics there is called maths, not math. I left Sydney to attend TCU; after two years abroad, I was ready to come home to Texas. For a long time, I wanted to be an actuary, but after lots of soul searching, I realized I preferred academics. I have been in Wyoming a year and I love it.
